We are partnered with a fast-growing AI startup building cutting-edge products that redefine what’s possible with machine learning. To accelerate their growth, we’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our London team.

Location: London (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)

Experience: 3–5 years

Package: 70k-100k + equity

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a key part of our engineering team, designing, building, and scaling our cloud infrastructure and platform systems. You will work with AWS, Docker, Python, and modern CI/CD systems to ensure our AI workloads run reliably and efficiently. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape best practices in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Platform Engineering within a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure
• Build, optimize, and support CI systems to accelerate developer workflows.
• Automate infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring using Python and modern tooling.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, with exposure to Kubernetes desirable.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer / SRE.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Proven experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science (BSc/MSc from a top university).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Desirable: knowledge of Kubernetes and/or MLOps practices.
• Startup experience is a plus.
