Support RAN OSS Design authorities to develop design and automation capability for RAN Element Managers and Trace Management Tools

~ Development to ensure vendor OSS platform design support the demands of the evolving radio technologies.

~ Gather user requirements (both technical and non-technical) and propose solution strategies for predicting, planning and visualising RAN data.

Youre confident writing clean, efficient Python code and have solid experience with Unix/Linux scripting (BASH, PERL).

~ Ideally, you understand radio network infrastructure, data, northbound interfaces, and can navigate diverse data formats and protocols.

~ Youve got a good grasp of Mobile Radio Network and OSS architectures, and you understand how networks are designed, built, and operated.

~ Youve worked with Network Element Management platforms like Nokia MantaRay NM, Ericsson ENM, Cisco EPNM OSS, and have hands-on experience with Trace Management and Geolocation tools.

~ Youre familiar with IP networks, virtual machines, and cloud-based hosting environmentsand you know how to make them work together.

Being able to provide consistent data that describes the capability of the Radio Access Network (RAN), is critically important to all our customers (BT, PlusNet, EE, and Emergency Service Network). This is a great development opportunity, building on your technical skills, that will include coding, to become an OSS design authority collaborating in the team that designs and delivers the radio vendor OSS, including layer 3 trace management and geolocation systems. As you develop working together you will create network automation, data and reporting solutions across vendors technologies that optimises the mobile network for a positive customer experience.

You will working with the RAN OSS design authorities to develop design and automation capabilities for the RAN Element Managers and Trace Management tools that support the ESN contract
Using your coding skills, and developing radio / network knowledge, to ensure the vendor OSS platform designs support the demands of the radio and transmission technologies
Engaging with technical and non-technical business users using their requirements to propose solution strategy for predicting, planning and visualising RAN data

Excellent at writing software code in Python and experience in Unix/Linux scripting skills (including BASH, PERL). Thorough, or ability to develop an, understanding of radio network infrastructure data, all data formats/protocols or northbound interfaces
