We're looking for experienced Highway Drainage Engineers to support essential maintenance and improvement projects across the highways network. With multiple positions available, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, long-term contract on a major highways programme.

• Managing cyclic, reactive, and planned drainage works

• Carrying out site inspections and surveys

• Collecting and managing data on drainage assets

• Responding to customer and service enquiries in a timely manner

• Working closely with other highways teams to drive efficiency and improvement

• BTEC Higher / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in highway drainage asset management and maintenance (or transferable civil engineering experience)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team

• Rate: £40 per hour

• IR35: Inside (umbrella)

• Length: 6 months initially, strong chance of extension

• Start date: ASAP

• Location: Derby (hybrid working)
