Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Leader you will be a key member of the team carrying out commissioning and maintenance tasks.Initially this role will be based at our Marine Power Test Facility at Whetstone in Leicestershire, but after approximately 18 months travel further afield may be required for durations of up to 4 weeks at a time.Primarily responsible for the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and documenting of drive systems, safely, to defined instructions in preparation for hand-over to the test team. The role will also require ongoing maintenance of drive equipment.Key responsibilities will include:Installation and checking of associated cabling, circuit breakers, contactors, transformers, UPS batteries/systems and variable speed drives.Commissioning and full integration of Variable Speed Drives.
