What will you be doing?

  • As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will join our client\'s Metering team, supporting major energy suppliers like EON, OVO, and EDF.
  • Installing smart meters (dual fuel).
  • Investigating non-communicating meters.
  • Handling emergency and maintenance appointments.
  • Independently in the field, meeting new people daily and delivering outstanding customer service. You\'ll explain meter functions and safety clearly and respond quickly to restore gas or electricity during outages.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and commission dual-fuel smart meters.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with non-communicating meters.
  • Manage and respond to emergency and maintenance appointments.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, explain meter functions and safety to customers, and restore services during outages.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A valid UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year, with no more than 6 points).
  • Qualifications such as CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel).
  • Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.
  • Previous MOCOPA experience.
  • Desirable but not essential: REGT1, 3-phase, or CT metering.
