OverviewEC&I Design Engineer — Liverpool, 38 hours per week, £45-£50 per hour (Outside IR35), 12 month initial contract.ResponsibilitiesProject Block cable and single line diagramsInstrument and valve data sheets (Specification of)Production and review of Instrument Loop diagrams, Junction box and connection diagrams, Control Panel and MCC panel schematicsSpecification of Hazardous area and non-hazardous area equipment, I.S safety calculationsWriting/assisting with control system User Requirement Specifications, Development of Cause & effects matrixVarious Schedules (Termination, cable, label, junction box etc.)Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety and efficiencyEnsure Quality Management Systems are followed, managed and implementedQualifications / ExperienceStrong experience with AMTECH software for cable calculationsProven working experience with AutoCADExperience with PLC systems and familiar with DCS systems - Siemens S7/TIA PortalExperience of working in the process industry and in potentially hazardous / explosive environmentsBe familiar with Functional Safety Systems and the requirements of BSEN 61508 & BSEN 61511How to applyIf this position is of interest, please get in contact with Alex Hooton at JAM Recruitment as soon as possible #J-18808-Ljbffr
