EC&I Design Engineer Liverpool 38 hours per week £45-£50 per hour (Outside IR35) 12 month initial contract

Development of E&I design which will include but not be limited to the following:

Project Block cable and single line diagrams o Instrument and valve data sheets (Specification of) Production and review of Instrument Loop diagrams, Junction box and connection diagrams, Control Panel and MCC panel schematics Specification of Hazardous area and non-hazardous area equipment, I.S safety calculations Writing/assisting with control system User Requirement Specifications, Development of Cause & effects matrix Various Schedules (Termination, cable, label, junction box etc.) Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety and efficiency Ensure Quality Management Systems are followed, managed and implemented

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Strong experience with AMTECH software for cable calculations Proven working experience with AutoCAD Experience with PLC systems and familiar with DCS systems - Siemens S7/TIA Portal Experience of working in the process industry and in potentially hazardous / explosive environments Be familiar with Functional Safety Systems and the requirements of BSEN 61508 & BSEN 61511 If this position is of interet, please get in contact with Alex Hooton at JAM Recruitment as soon as possible.
