We are looking for an experienced EDU Geometric Integration Lead Engineer to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in the development of Electric Drive Units (EDUs), a core component in our client’s electrification strategy.
The successful candidate will lead the EDU Geometric Integration team, ensuring the EDU is compatible with system-level requirements. You will manage a multidisciplinary team within an Agile framework, delivering geometric compatibility, entitlement to meet system performance requirements, and demonstrating quality through evidence-based engineering reviews.

Responsibilities:
* EDU Geometric Compatibility
* Create and publish skeleton models to define EDU component architecture.
* Regularly publish full assembly models in line with sprint cadence.
* Manage EDU assembly design freeze in line with programme gateways.
* Support vehicle package reviews and virtual build events.
* Support virtual builds for rig setups.
* Resolve Incompatibilities
* Lead resolution of issues that span multiple component groups through integration design reviews.
* Provide support for vehicle build issues.
* EDU System Validation
* Create test requests as defined by the DFMEA.
* Compile and upload evidence and test reports to corporate repositories.
* Complete evidence-based engineering reviews for EDU assemblies.
* Labels Release
* Design and release responsibility for EDU labels.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential:
* Strong experience with 3D modelling tools and techniques, ideally CATIA V6.
* Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Proven knowledge and application of Agile product delivery methodology.
* Demonstrable track record of delivering innovative design solutions.
* Experience in project management and issue resolution.
* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable:
* Prior experience in a Product Owner role.
* Experience managing projects and backlogs using Confluence and JIRA.
* Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
* Detailed knowledge of EDU design
