Role: Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer - Elec bias\n\nLocation: West London\n\nShift Pattern: 3 on 3 off Days & Nights\n\nSalary: up to £56,000\n\nOur client is a global leader in frozen bakery products. With over 40 years of expertise, they offer a wide range of products for both food service and retail. \n\nJob Role & Key Responsibilities:\n\nAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high-speed production and packaging lines, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient site operations.
Key duties include planned and reactive maintenance of automated bakery equipment, minimising downtime during breakdowns, supporting preventative maintenance programmes, and collaborating with production and hygiene teams to maintain performance and compliance.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nTime-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled Engineering\n\nExperience in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment\n\nSkilled in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding\n\nFamiliarity with PPM routines and CMMS systems\n\nStrong understanding of safety, hygiene, and quality standards in production\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nHands-on experience with a range of bakery machinery (mixers, ovens, freezers, flow wrappers, etc.)\n\nConfident working with basic PLC systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley)\n\nElectrical skills including 3-phase motor work, fault-finding, and regulatory compliance (18th Edition)\n\nMechanical skills such as replacing bearings, belts, and pneumatic components\n\nComfortable supporting installations, diagnostics, and changeovers\n\nBenefits Include:\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nOvertime paid\n\n23 days annual leave\n\nGroup life insurance and pension scheme\n\nCareer growth opportunities within a global food group\nIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with us or apply below
