OverviewAs Electrical and Electronic Engineer you will join a collaborative engineering team focused on sustaining and improving a portfolio of medical infusion devices. This role blends hands-on technical work with system-level thinking, supporting electronic hardware, embedded systems, and test infrastructure. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product reliability, regulatory compliance, and long-term component availability.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and qualify alternative electronic components to manage obsolescence and extend product lifecyclePerform engineering verification and laboratory testing at the PCBA component levelInvestigate and resolve faults through structured root cause analysis at both PCBA and system levelsDefine test requirements and oversee implementation with external suppliersMaintain and update technical documentation to support production and design transferProvide technical input to improve PCBA, wiring looms, and electro-mechanical assembliesSupport engineering change processes, including documentation and compliance activitiesContribute to design for manufacture, assembly, and test initiativesQualificationsQualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (HNC/HND or Degree level)Experienced in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally 3-5 yearsSkilled in interpreting electronic circuits and using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generatorsFamiliar with PCBA manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and electronic circuit analysisConfident in using structured problem-solving techniques and engineering toolsAdaptable, self-driven, and comfortable working across disciplines in a regulated environmentCompany, Culture and BenefitsBD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world.
