We are supporting a highly respected engineering manufacturer in recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. About the Role

You'll be part of an engineering department that designs specialist industrial machinery involving high‑precision coating and processing systems. The role covers the full electrical design lifecycle -from early concept work through detailed schematics and final design documentation.

This is a hands‑on, collaborative role where you will contribute to bespoke machine builds rather than repetitive, off‑the‑shelf products.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Documentation

Lead all electrical design activities across assigned machine projects. Produce accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and supporting documentation. Ensure all designs meet relevant British and European electrical regulations. Select components and cabling suited to the machine's operating environment and performance demands.
