New Opportunity - Experienced Electrical Design Engineer
Our client in Ilkeston is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for designing electrical distribution systems, up to 11KV, producing technical drawings and calculations, and collaborating with external consultants and internal teams.
As the new Electrical Design Engineer, you will:
Produce detailed electrical design drawings and documentation
Perform electrical design calculations
Develop designs using industry-standard software
Design LV and MV switchboards
Specify cables and protection systems
Create switching schedules
Ensure all designs meet the latest relevant standards
Maintain project timelines and deliverables
Requirements for this role:
Proven experience in electrical design engineering.
HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems up to 11kV
Proficiency in design software and calculation tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work confidently with external consultants and stakeholders
About this role:
This role can be full-time or part-time to suit you.
You will be office based in Ilkeston and will be required to go to site occasionally.
You will be work on exciting and impactful projects.
