Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Basildon, Essex. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Electrical Design Engineer. This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

We are looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to work alongside the Automation Technicians to produce the electrical wiring diagrams for electrical control systems.
Responsibilities:
\n
\n Assisting with the ongoing drawing transition from AutoCAD to EPLAN, working with the rest of the Automation Department to agree on methods of working and drawing standards \n
Generating electrical drawings and panel Layouts, with supporting electrical documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts etc.) \n
Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments \n
Maintain a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project \n
\n
Experience & Knowledge:
\n
\n Formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (e.g. apprenticeship) \n
In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D is a necessity \n
An EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) qualification \n
Familiarity with Automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment \n
Has worked in a project environment in cross-functional project teams \n
