HV Design Engineer

Job Description:

HV light current secondary design capability.

Have experience in the design of control and protection systems for HV

networks and a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

Degree in Electrical Power Systems .

Grid 132/275/400kV projects experience essential.

SSE 132/275/400kV projects experience an advantage.

Represent the Department at project start-up, scheme review, progress, close- out, liaison and other meetings.

Be responsible for maintaining internal and external interfaces during the project.

Undertake and lead design work with due regard to Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures and production of Designer Risk Assessments, as necessary.

NG Persons & BESC required, but not essential.

Must be able to work as part of a team
