Attention Electrical Design Engineers

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a well–established engineering consultancy in a permanent or contract (Outside IR35) position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working 3 days in our client's office in Manchester, with two days working from home.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of healthcare projects, with an experienced and motivated team.

–Competitive hourly rate ranging from 40– 43 (depending on experience),

–Hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

–Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards.

–Create technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for systems.

–Work alongside other engineers to integrate systems with building designs.

–Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.

–Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.

–Help prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and resources.

What we are looking for:

–A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

–Experience in electrical design.

–Strong knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, power, distribution).

–Extensive experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

–Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

–Familiarity with relevant building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
