A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Design Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Birmingham Area!

With no day ever being the same the Electrical Design Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using SolidWorks Electrical or E-Plan, along with Bills of Materials.

Develop supporting documentation such as performance calculations, test plans, and material/component justifications.

Ensure all designs meet customer specifications and comply with safety and legislative standards.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to deliver fully integrated product solutions.

Follow structured design processes to ensure timely risk mitigation and design approvals.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR SC CLEARANCE

Degree qualified or experience within a relevant industry

Power and Electrical Design knowledge - Low Voltage power distribution experience - highly desirable.

Experience working with Variable speed drives, control panels , motor panels, PLC systems

Knowledge and experience working with Control and Instrumentation would be highly desirable

E-Plan & Solidworks Electrical knowledge and experiencePackage and Benefits:
