PE Global is currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer for a leading multi-national company providing equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling based in Kintore.

This is a permanent role.

Pay Rate: £45,000 - £50,200 depending on experience.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities • Apply technical knowledge to design, develop, and validate innovative electrical engineering solutions. • Lead small to medium-sized design projects under the supervision of the Principal Engineer. • Prepare and check engineering documents including drawings, manuals, reports, and calculations. • Participate in design and sales contract reviews, ensuring commercial implications are considered. • Carry out cost estimates and ensure designs meet budget and timeline requirements. • Support factory acceptance tests, site installations, and commissioning activities as required. • Implement engineering change procedures effectively to minimise disruption. • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Education/Experience • Experience in a similar electrical design engineering role. • Proficiency in Eplan and Autodesk Inventor. • Strong understanding of IEC Standards, EU Directives, CE Marking, ATEX, IECEx, and Norsok standard...
