Join our clients team as an Electrical Design Engineer and build something to be proud of.\nDue to the nature of our projects, we require individuals to hold full work rights within the UK, coupled with being eligible for SC level Security Clearance.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities;\no Create electrical designs and procure specialist packages in heavy industries.\no Design LV electrical distribution systems.\no Create the following documentation: Specifications & Datasheets, Cable Calculations & Schedules, Drawings (via CAD team).\no Review and check manufacturer document / information for compliance with\nproject specifications.\no Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and\nsuppliers.\n\nWho we're looking for\nQualities and experience:\no Must be proficient in Trimble (Amtech) ProDesign.\no Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other designers and\nproject teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable design solution\no Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and write clearly and succinctly\no Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design.\no Excellent IT Skills are desirable.\no Microsoft Office experience is essential including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint.\no Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material.\no Experience in a broad range of heavy industries such as Petrochemical, Power\nGeneration, Renewables and Nuclear.\nBeneficial experience:\no Design of HV electrical systems\no Use of AutoCAD and/or Revit software\no Use of Dialux or Relux software\no Use of SKM, ETAP, Digsilent, PSCAD software\no Design of ATEX systems
