Job Description

Our client who has offices based in the Northwest & North Wales are currently looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.

This role is for a growing building services consultancy and requires an engineer who can work autonomouslytaking ownership of design packages, liaising directly with clients and project teams, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Duties:
  • Electrical design across lighting, power, containment, fire alarm and security systems.
  • Production of design drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Completing lighting calculations and designs.
  • Carrying out electrical load calculations and sizing using Amtech.
  • Supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
  • Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent and compliance.
  • Assisting senior engineers and taking responsibility for your own packages of work.
What we are looking for in the candidate:
  • Previous consultancy experience in building services design.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
  • Competent in AutoCAD and Amtech (Revit experience desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in lighting design and calculation software.
  • Experience in commercial & new-build residential projects.
