Lhoist are a successful, international Belgium company that has several sites in the UK. As a manufacturer of high-quality lime and dolomitic lime products we deliver to a widening worldwide market. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team at Whitwell . This is a hands-on role is responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement across site operations. The Electrical Engineer will work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations to support uninterrupted production. Supervise a team of five electrical/instrument technicians and one apprentice, including planning, assigning, and directing work. Conduct interviews, training, appraisals, and manage disciplinary procedures in line with company policy. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and manage capex projects. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including the Electricity at Work Act.
