This is an ideal role for someone with a strong electrical engineering background and a commitment to excellence in safety and performance.What We Can Offer YouSalary up to £58,641 + Bonus35 days holiday per annumAnnual pay reviewQuarterly bonus scheme (subject to business performance)Private healthcare scheme (individual cover)Defined contribution pension scheme (10% employer / 6% employee contributions)Free onsite parking at all sitesEmployee assistance programmeDiscounts with partners such as Vodafone, Jaguar Land Rover, and moreWhat You Will DoAs a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and upgrading of high voltage electrical systems across the site.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.Optimising system performance and supporting uninterrupted power supply to operations.Troubleshooting electrical issues and managing planned maintenance activities.Coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.Providing technical expertise to support capital projects and upgrades.You'll also play a vital role in driving improvements to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our HV systems.What You Will NeedTo be successful in this role, you'll need:A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.Significant experience managing and maintaining high voltage infrastructure in a heavy industrial setting.Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and HV maintenance best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.A proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Why join our client’s team?Our client is one of the world's top 10 steel producers.
