Futures are looking to appoint a hands on Electrical Engineer to join our client based in West Yorkshire. The successful Electrical Engineer will specialise in panel wiring, testing, and some mechanical fitting for low- and medium-voltage power distribution products. This role combines practical shop-floor activities with technical problem-solving to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical panel wiring and assembly in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Perform testing, inspection, and fault-finding on power distribution panels and related equipment.

Conduct mechanical fitting of electrical components, busbars, and enclosures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality procedures.

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability in panel building and testing processes.

Skills and qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Proven experience in panel wiring, electrical testing, and fitting within a manufacturing or power distribution environment.

Strong understanding of power distribution systems, electrical circuits, and control panels.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
