Electrical Engineer - Building Services Location: London Salary: £37,000-£42,000 + excellent benefits Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
I'm working with a highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy known for its innovative and collaborative approach to design. With offices in both London and Birmingham, they work closely with architects to deliver intelligent, creative engineering solutions across a broad project portfolio - from arts and cultural spaces to residential, aviation, and even experimental structures like inflatables and loadbearing stone.
They are now looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer in building services design. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work on unique, design-led projects within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:

\n Develop and deliver electrical and building services designs, including analysis, calculations, and sketches \n
Prepare technical reports and specifications \n
Liaise and coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders \n
Attend meetings and conduct site visits and surveys \n
Manage project information and contribute to hitting deadlines \n
Participate in design reviews and ensure quality through self-checking \n
Support junior engineers and contribute to internal learning and development \n
Keep up to date with H&S, sustainability, and environmental regulations \n

About You:
\n
\n Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline \n
Ideally working towards or already achieved Chartered Engineer status \n
Strong technical background in electrical design within the built environment \n
Experienced in producing viable, sustainable, cost-effective electrical engineering solutions \n
Comfortable in client-facing roles and collaborative design meetings \n
Familiar with relevant legislation, building regulations, and standards \n
