This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, client-facing role where technical excellence meets real-world impact.\n\n The Role\n\nAs an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, you will be responsible for:\n\n * Overseeing and maintaining electrical systems across commercial, industrial, or public buildings.\n\n * Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on LV/HV systems, lighting, emergency power, and building services.\n\n * Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.\n\n * Supporting energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives.\n\n * Managing sub-contractors and liaising with clients to deliver top-tier service.\n\n * Assisting in the planning and execution of electrical upgrades, refurbishments, and capital projects.\n\n✅ About You\n\nWe’re looking for candidates with:\n\n * A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND, BEng, or equivalent).\n\n * 3+ years’ experience in building services or facilities management environments.\n\n * Strong working knowledge of current IEE wiring regulations (18th Edition).\n\n * Experience with BMS, UPS systems, and emergency lighting systems.\n\n * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
