This is a permanent, site-based role located in Port Glasgow, reporting into the Site Engineering Lead. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving electrical systems across a complex, fast-paced manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and fault-find on a wide range of electrical plant and equipment including lighting, fire detection, HVAC, UPS, and power systems Ensure site-wide compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (IET Wiring Regs, HSE guidance, etc.) Work with internal teams and contractors to manage installation, maintenance, and repair projects Support and maintain reliability of PLC and automation systems (vendor-managed) Act as or train towards becoming the site's High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) Manage and issue permits to work, ensuring all activities are properly controlled and documented Interpret and update electrical drawings and schematics as required Participate in disaster recovery planning for automation systems ...
