About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a
Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
to work on our
FM contract with the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) , based at their Sutton site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team supporting critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring experience in Facilities Management (FM), strong electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn additional systems such as medical gases and steam - with training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of standard
FM HVAC and LV systems
Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 7 rotation, every 4 nights)
Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts in a timely and professional manner
Work with and be trained in
Medical Gases
and
Steam systems
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and statutory requirements
Complete relevant paperwork, documentation, and compliance records
Support additional ad hoc tasks as required by the FM contract
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Formal Electrical Qualification (e.g.
City & Guilds Part 1 & 2
or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
Experience working on
HVAC and low voltage systems
Strong understanding of FM maintenance practices
Desirable:
Test & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
ECS / CSCS Card
Experience in healthcare or critical environments (highly beneficial)
Willingness to train on
Medical Gases
and
Steam plant
