Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a specialist team delivering electrical systems for industrial, commercial and energy sector clients. Working closely with the Installation Manager, this is a hands-on field-based role where you’ll be installing, maintaining, and supporting electrical systems across a variety of sites around the UK.\n\nDay to day tasks will include:\n\n- Working closely with the Installation Manager to Install, commission and service electrical systems.\n- Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics and circuit designs.\n- Assist with carrying out site surveys, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues on-site.\n- Working flexibly across UK sites, with occasional travel within the EU and to head office.\n- Liaising directly with customers, engineers and project managers to keep installations running smoothly.\n- Maintaining high safety standards at all times.\n\nWe'd like to hear from candidates with:\n\n- Either - HND/HNC, Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma, Advanced Apprenticeship OR some experience in electrical engineering/maintenance.\n- Interested in/willingness to learn new electrical systems (full training provided)\n- Ideally 2+ years’ experience on site working with industrial, commercial or energy sector electrical installations or maintenance.\n- Comfortable reading schematics, drawings and applying circuit design knowledge.\n- Flexible approach - happy to work site hours and occasional weekends where required.\n- Safety-focused mindset.\n- Strong communication skills, able to work in a small team and engage directly with clients.\n- Willing to travel extensively across the UK (plus occasional trips abroad).\n- Full UK driving licence.\n\nWhat’s on offer\n\n- Salary: up to £40,000 with review after probation period\n- Benefits include pension, Life Assurance, Private Healthcare, fully expensed company van (with private fuel allowance).\n- Laptop, mobile phone and specialist tooling provided.\n- Ongoing training and development opportunities.\n\nIf you’re looking to apply your electrical expertise in a specialist field where every day brings variety and challenge, this is the role for you.\n\nYou’ll work on complex projects that really matter, travel across the UK (and beyond), and have the backing of a supportive, close-knit team.
