Job Title: Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £38,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday Friday, 08:00 16:30 About the Role We are looking for an Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join our team in Belfast. In this role, you will carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of client facilities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of electrical installations, working both independently and within a team to deliver high-quality testing services. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on electrical systems and equipment. Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment for compliance with current regulations. Document findings and prepare detailed reports for clients. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and management. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively. Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and health & safety protocols. Keep testing equipment calibrated, maintained, and in good working order. Experience & Skills City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations. City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations. City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Certification for Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing. Proven experience conducting EICR inspections, ideally in industrial or large-scale facilities. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations. Experience using EasyCert (or similar) electrical testing software. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols. Full UK Driving Licence. Company Benefits Competitive salary of £38,000.
