Hays is working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a critical site in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting essential infrastructure in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

Role Overview You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of plant and equipment across the site. This includes: Responding to breakdowns within SLA timeframes Working with UPS, CPS, power distribution, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure Supporting emergency response and call-out protocols Escalating urgent issues to the Technical Services Manager Maintaining accurate engineering documentation and compliance records Conducting site surveys and producing method statements and risk assessments

Essential Skills & Qualifications 17th/18th Edition Qualified Experience in Facilities Management (FM) Strong understanding of CDM regulations Excellent communication and customer service skills Proven ability to manage tasks and materials independently Familiarity with H&S procedures including COSHH, Working at Heights (ipaf. pasma) Risk Assessment - IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualified - or CSCS Skilled in testing and inspecting electrical systems - JIB gold card, 2391 equivalent Knowledge of emergency response and environmental monitoring protocol Desirable Experience in data centre or critical environment operations Hays EA is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
