Role Overview:
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of heavy engineering equipment. This position requires a proactive individual who can diagnose and resolve electrical issues swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and machinery.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to ensure seamless operations.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a heavy engineering environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control panels.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Flexibility to work a 3-shift pattern (days, nights, and afternoons).
