Location: Coalville
Starting Salary: £46,000 (rising to £49,000 after 6 months), £49,000 in year one upon passing probation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM (8-hour shift) – No Weekends
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Easily commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley, Swadlincote, Coalville, and surrounding areas

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who thrives on night shifts and values stability, structure, and a well-organised working environment.
You’ll be joining a reputable manufacturing site with modern, reliable machinery, a proactive PPM schedule, and a supportive maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance on machinery
Diagnose and repair faults — not just reset
Read and work from electrical schematics
Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and prevent breakdowns
Maintain accurate maintenance records and address recurring issues
Follow all safety procedures and site policies
What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 / ONC in Electrical Engineering
Proven maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG )
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Strong fault-finding skills and logical problem-solving approach
PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) is advantageous but not essential
Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
