Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Were looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a leading UK feed mill and agricultural food production business. This is a hands-on, site-based role where youll be at the heart of keeping essential milling machinery and equipment running safely and efficiently.

Ideal for someone with experience in feed milling, grain processing, agricultural engineering, or food manufacturing, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a well-established operation.

What youll be doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs on feed milling equipment, conveyors, mixers, pellet presses, and site machinery.

  • Fault-finding and repairing electrical systems, panels, PLCs, motors, inverters, and control systems.

  • Supporting machinery installation, commissioning, and modifications to improve reliability and output.

  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, H&S, and food industry standards at all times.

What were looking for

  • Time-served Electrical Engineer or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical fault finding, PLCs, control systems, and automation.

  • Experience in feed milling, grain processing, agricultural, or food manufacturing environments.

  • Desirable: knowledge of boiler/steam systems, CMMS systems, and HACCP.
