Electrical Engineer

Location: Howden Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking to recruit experienced Electrical Engineers to join our growing team at our manufacturing facility in Howden. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment at one of the UK’s leading kitchen manufacturers.

You will work either on a rotating shift pattern covering mornings and afternoons.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of machinery and equipment.

* Respond promptly and professionally to equipment breakdowns to minimise disruption to production.

* Undertake fault finding, including working with PLCs, and carry out repairs using a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

* Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical and process issues.

* Identify and implement improvements in safety, processes, and technology.

* Accurately record all maintenance activities using the CMMS (Shire System).

* Maintain a proactive and positive approach to supporting the success of the wider business.

As part of your duties, you must ensure that you have read, understood, and comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures, as outlined in our Integrated Management System (IMS).
