PURPOSE OF ROLE\n\nTo provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercially occupied environment, with the utmost regard for customer service.\n\nDeliver PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) primarily related to Electrical Equipment in line with agreed programmes and SLAs to meet client and statutory compliance. Complete reactive works identified through PPM tasks as required. Provide service support as part of a team delivering quality service 24/7, including participation in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.\n\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\n\n * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with specific method statements, risk assessments, and relevant safety legislation and procedures.\n\n * Deliver excellent service by completing PPM tasks and reactive works within contractual SLAs to meet KPIs.\n\n * Maintain premises to exceptionally high standards through a proactive service delivery approach.\n\n * Build strong working relationships with the client, their staff, and appointed representatives through excellent customer service.\n\n * Ensure all applicable site documentation is kept up to date and ready for internal or external audits.\n\n * Collaborate effectively with team members to meet all contractual obligations.\n\n * Supervise sub-contractor works when required, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.\n\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n * Undertake overtime where works cannot be performed during normal working hours.\n\n * Manage the completion of minor works carried out by others.\n\n * Liaise directly with the onsite FM team and other service partners to foster collaborative working relationships.\n\n * Use the client’s CAFM system to provide accurate service-related information.\n\n * Demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.\n\n * Carry out electrical maintenance and installation work efficiently and in accordance with:\n\n * Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry\n\n * Current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)\n\n * Construction Industry Safety Regulations\n\nESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS\n\n * Practical experience in carrying out PPMs and routine electrical repairs and maintenance in line with SFG20 or equivalent, including basic fault-finding and diagnostics.\n\n * Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (, not essential).\n\n * City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.\n\n * Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent.\n\n * City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).\n\n * Ability to work independently.\n\n * Excellent customer service skills with a strong client-facing approach
