Our client is a rapidly growing Facilities Management company that is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out electrical repairs and maintenance on commercial properties across Birmingham.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have enjoy working within a client facing environment and will have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a proven record of electrical maintenance and installation.\n\nThis role will start as static but will move to mobile over the year as new contracts progress.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nPrioritise electrical maintenance PPMs and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.\nCarry out a range of electrical services which could include periodic fixed electrical Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Annual Electrical Inspections and emergency lighting testing.\nRespond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.\nCarry out small fabric works and first fix calls, including Plumbing and drainage calls. - basic experience.\nIdentify electrical equipment/appliances in the building which need fixing/replacing e.g., white goods, emergency, internal and external lighting, general fabric.\nComplete electrical installation projects and refurbishments\nComply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times, carrying out risk assessments and complete a daily site logbook and diary, \nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with the customers.\nIdeal Candidate\n\nHold relevant Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 and minimum 18th Edition,\nTesting & Inspection - 2391 ideal, not a must.\nExperience working on commercial properties\nMinimum 5 years' experience in electrical services\nClean Full Driving Licence - Manual only\nRole Package\n\nPermanent, 40 hours Contract\nHours - Mon - Fri, between 8am-5pm (Must have some flexibility in emergencies)\nFree Parking at static site\nWeekend hours available on voluntary, paid as overtime.\nCompany Van to be provided when role moves to mobile\nHoliday - 23 days + bank holidays\nBasic pension (After 6 months probation period)\nUniform & Tools provided\nIf you are successful, you will receive a starting salary of £40,000.
