Electrical Project Engineer\n\nManchester\n\nHours Mon - Fri 8:00 - 16:00\n\nSalary £40000 to £45000 DOE\n\nOur client, a large manufacturing company in Manchester, has a very exciting opportunity for an ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER, working days Monday to Friday.\n\nJoin our clients Technical Engineering Team as a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer specialising in the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimisation of advanced automation systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nYou will have a strong knowledge of electrical control systems, PLC control systems including Siemens and will be expected to both modify and in some instances rewrite programs when needed, including Wonderware Intouch SCADA\n\nYou will lead electrical engineering projects focused on the refurbishment and upgrade of complex machinery, conveyor systems, and packaging lines, leveraging cutting-edge automation, drives, and control technologies.\n\nFirst and foremost, your knowledge of electrical breakdowns and repeat issues will be the key to your success. This would include configuring inverter drives, testing and working on safety control systems, and relay logic. You will be comfortable both creating electrical drawings from scratch and modifying current drawings using EPLAN.\n\nTo succeed, you will be time served electrically and have a solid background working with PLC and control-based systems.

You will enjoy working as part of a team and your superior electrical knowledge will separate you from the competition\n\nEssential Technical Qualifications & Experience\n\n· Electrically time-served: HNC (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent\n\n· Demonstrated expertise with:\n\n- Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs (programming, hardware integration, ladder logic, function block diagram)\n\n- SCADA systems, notably Wonderware Intouch (screen design, scripting, alarm management)\n\n- High-level Eplan proficiency in electrical drawings\n\nStaret People are the agency working this position
