Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (based on competency and experience)

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

Manage and deliver electrical engineering projects across the full lifecycle - from feasibility and design through to build, commissioning, and handover.

Develop robust project plans, technical specifications and requests for quotations.

Oversee contractors and OEM partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Lead and document safety studies (risk assessments, HAZOP, FMEA) and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Provide expert technical input, troubleshooting and problem-solving support to internal teams.

Represent the organisation with professionalism when liaising with external stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering and Chartered Engineer status (desirable but not essential)

Strongindustry experience (Heavy industrial/Manufacturing/large scale engineering environments)

Solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessments, and UKhealth and Safety legislation

Strong verbal and written communication skill.

High level of engineering competency in electrical disciplines.

Excellent time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
