We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.\n\nThe job description below will outline this position of: Electrical Service Engineer (SAT/NAVCom)\n\nTypically, this person will visit vessels predominantly in the UK (however, international travel will be open), servicing, maintaining, repairing, installing, and surveying NAVCom / SATCom / Bridge Navigation, VSAT, GMDSS and more. \n\nHSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.\n\nDuties and responsibilities of the Electrical Service Engineer (SAT/NAVCom):\n\nVisit vessels to either conduct, work on, repair, or install: \n\t\nVDR-APTs\n\t\nRadio Surveys\n\t\nInstallation, repair, and maintenance of GMDSS Equipment\n\t\nInstallation, repair, and maintenance of Navigation equipment\n\t\nInstallation, repair, and maintenance of VSAT Satellite Broadband\n\t\nWorking on Retrofit projects, completing whole bridge installs and large system integrations\n\nQualifications and requirements for the Electrical Service Engineer (SAT/NAVCom):\n\nGood standard at a higher level HNC/ONC/NVQ Level or equivalent standard education\n\t\nCurrent Driving Licence\n\t\nAble to pass marine/offshore worker medical examination\n\t\nValid Passport as international travel will be part of this role\n\t\n3+ Years of Marine Service Engineer experience\n\t\nIn-depth knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering\n\t\nGMDSS Radio Operator / Maintainer License \n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
