About the Role We are looking for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our engineering team in Hammersmith. The role involves carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on a critical site while working to a continental shift pattern. This position suits an engineer with strong technical expertise, particularly across electrical distribution and building services systems.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

Work on electrical systems including LV distribution, switchgear, emergency lighting, and small power

Provide first-line response to alarms, faults, and breakdowns

Carry out testing, inspection, and statutory compliance tasks in line with regulations

Support building services operations including BMS resets and monitoring

Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance (commercial or critical environment)

Knowledge of LV systems, emergency lighting, and compliance procedures

Ability to work continental shift patterns (days and nights)

DBS check required prior to appointment
