Looking for a new challenge as an Electrical Engineer? We have a standout opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work on a flagship site based in Central London, offering career progression, additional training, the chance to be part of a great team, and to join a well-renowned building service provider.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficiency of electrical plant equipment on site, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, actively troubleshoot / fault find, work as part of a team, and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks
  • Work on single and three-phase electrical systems, including motors, emergency lighting, fire alarms, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Safely isolate equipment and systems when necessary to carry out work
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with current regulations and industry standards
  • Consistently follow and promote safe working practices and procedures
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and site logbooks
  • Use PDA systems to manage workflow, including job allocation, updates, and closures

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified within Electrical Engineering / Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) with electrical regulation qualifications
  • Minimum of at least 3 years within commercial building services
  • Great knowledge of commercial electrical equipment
  • Client facing attitude
