Electrical Site Maintenance Engineer role at webuyanycar. Salary: £40,000 + monthly bonus + company vehicle. Location: Nationwide travel (average 42 hrs/week, 5 days out of 7). Join the UK’s favourite car-buying service as part of the brand-new Retail Maintenance Team, across over 500 branches including PODs powered by solar and eco-fuel. This is a hands-on, field-based position focused on keeping our retail network safe, efficient, and powered up.

The Role

As an Electrical Site Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for all electrical needs across our retail network. From preventative servicing to rapid response repairs, you’ll ensure every site operates at its best in all conditions.

Your Day Could Include

  • Carrying out electrical servicing and inspections to keep sites safe and compliant.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faults on-site or guiding colleagues remotely through quick checks.
  • Supporting innovative energy solutions such as solar panels and alternative power sources.
  • Working closely with suppliers to deliver permanent fixes, not quick patches.
  • Collaborating with our Maintenance Manager and wider team to ensure seamless operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, keeps safety front of mind, and enjoys the variety of working across multiple sites.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you can show:

  • An electrical bias with multi-skilled maintenance experience.
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (18th Edition / NVQ / equivalent).
  • A strong track record in electrical fault finding, repairs, and compliance.
  • A working knowledge of general building services and mechanical maintenance.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and communicating with a wide range of colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to Health & Safety at all times.
