The Opportunity

Are you an electrical professional who wants to be trained up to become an engineering surveyor in the TICs world (Testing, Inspection & Certification)? This role offers clear training and a career in high level testing & inspection engineering.

On that basis, we are looking for an electrical professional who wants to be trained up to become an "Engineering Surveyor" in TICs. You'll have seen these people around, making sure all is safe and fit for use. Real heroes. With this package you will easily clear £50k+ with overtime and car allowance, plus 12% pension and 25 days holiday, along with world class training. Responsibilities

• Testing & inspecting electrical pieces of kit in service, ensuring they are working properly.
• Working across sectors (manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, airports, etc.) in industrial, commercial & heavy industrial environments.
• As you become more trained, you will work on more complex sites, with salary and career progression aligned to your training level.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrical professionals (apprenticeship, level 3, etc.).
• 2391 and 18th Edition would be highly desirable.
• HNC or above would be good.
• Willing to move toward further training and progression (ATEX & COMPEX as you progress, up to chartered status in partnership with the IET).
• Some testing & inspection experience is helpful, but prior role-specific experience is not strictly required as this role includes significant development and training.
