Electrician - Testing & Inspection

Responsibilities

  • Testing & inspecting electrical pieces of kit in service, making sure all is working properly.
  • Work across a range of sectors (manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, airports; industrial, commercial & heavy industrial).
  • As you are trained, undertake more complex sites with increased salary potential and ongoing development.

Qualifications and Training

  • Fully qualified electrical professional (apprenticeship, Level 3, etc.).
  • 2391 & 18th Edition would be desirable.
  • HNC or above would be good too.
  • Experience in testing & inspection; willingness to develop into an Engineering Surveyor in TICs (Testing, Inspection & Certification).
  • Opportunity to progress toward ATEX & COMPEX and Chartered status through IET in partnership with the employer.

  • Salary: £41k - £42k basic + overtime
