This company builds one-of-a-kind, real-time sensor systems – real-time analysis that enables their user base to gain immediate insights and make important decisions quickly. They are scaling, and they need an Electronics Engineer who works at the intersection of analogue design, PCB layout, and embedded C firmware.

There will be variety: fault-finding on existing products, miniaturising designs for new customers, and R&D work including inventing, patenting, and pushing technology forward. You’ll also update legacy designs and contribute to testing and debugging with a collaborative team that supports you (including external training if needed).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to analogue design, PCB layout, and embedded C firmware for high-precision electronic systems
  • Fault-find on existing products and implement design improvements
  • Miniaturise designs for different customer bases
  • Engage in R&D activities, including inventing and patenting new technology
  • Update legacy designs and perform thorough testing and debugging
  • Collaborate with a small but growing team and participate in external training as needed

What you’ll need

  • Circuit & multilayer PCB design (Altium or similar)
  • Embedded C programming (comfortable enough to debug and build)
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving mindset
