Location: Stevenage Type: long term contract role
About the Role We're looking for an Electronic Test Engineer to take the reins on specifying, procuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the electrical test racks (EGSE) that bring spacecraft from blueprint to blast-off. You'll be hands-on with validation, maintenance, and fault-finding, while also running the behind-the-scenes show - configuring, maintaining, and administering the computers on the EGSE network.
If you're as comfortable with a soldering iron as you are with a bash script, this is where your skills meet the stars.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining and fault-finding on electronic and RF test racks.
Administering computer systems and networks across Windows and Linux.
Developing scripts and code to keep EGSE systems mission-ready.
Supporting environmental and launch test campaigns.
Preparing test specs, reviewing supplier data packs, and contributing to design and non-conformance reviews.
What You'll Bring (Essential)
Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of electronic and RF test racks.
Strong fault-finding skills down to board/component level.
Experience with Windows/Linux network administration.
Excellent documentation skill...
