Water & Environmental Monitoring Systems - Hybrid based in Midlands. Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Worcester. £30,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Benefits + Hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Join an existing team in a hybrid role as an Electronics Design Engineer.
- PCB designing, updating, and adapting for new and legacy hardware.
- Work alongside a senior engineer to incorporate a variety of environmental sensors.
- Utilise Altium for design and selection, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Carry out testing, validation, and debugging as needed.
- Liaise with the larger, multidisciplinary team.
- Mon - Fri role, 3 days in the office, 2 from home, 37.5 hours per week.
Ideal Background For The Electronics Design Engineer Position
- 2+ years' experience with schematic PCB layouts and designs for analogue and digital circuitry.
- Preferably in Altium.
- Familiar with microcontrollers such as STM32 and PIC and C / C++ embedded languages.
- Understanding of low power systems, up to 8W.
- Knowledge of PCB debugging and fault finding.
- Ideally, you'll have a formal qualification in electronics engineering, embedded systems, etc.
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Able to commute 3 days per week to the Bromsgrove site.
- You must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship will not be provided.

- £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
