Water & Environmental Monitoring Systems - Hybrid based in Midlands. Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Worcester. £30,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Benefits + Hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Join an existing team in a hybrid role as an Electronics Design Engineer.
• PCB designing, updating, and adapting for new and legacy hardware.
• Work alongside a senior engineer to incorporate a variety of environmental sensors.
• Utilise Altium for design and selection, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
• Carry out testing, validation, and debugging as needed.
• Liaise with the larger, multidisciplinary team.
• Mon - Fri role, 3 days in the office, 2 from home, 37.5 hours per week.

Ideal Background For The Electronics Design Engineer Position

• 2+ years' experience with schematic PCB layouts and designs for analogue and digital circuitry.
• Preferably in Altium.
• Familiar with microcontrollers such as STM32 and PIC and C / C++ embedded languages.
• Understanding of low power systems, up to 8W.
• Knowledge of PCB debugging and fault finding.
• Ideally, you'll have a formal qualification in electronics engineering, embedded systems, etc.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Able to commute 3 days per week to the Bromsgrove site.
• You must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship will not be provided.
