Electronics Test Engineer

OverviewDue to continued growth, we currently require an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join the Test and production team at our Wokingham offices.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Production Manager.Undertake test of electronic hardware in a low volume and prototyping manufacturing environment.Undertake software and system integration test.Operation of an environmental test chamber.Create test procedures in consultation with design engineers.Installation of operating systems (Linux and Windows).Fault finding, debugging and resolution of issues.Checking that all work meets quality and technical standards.Occasional visits to customer sites to support equipment setting to work and field service.Skills & ExperienceEssentialHNC or equivalent in electronics (Studying towards is acceptable).Also open to industrial placement year students as part of a degree in electronics or similar.Ability to write comprehensive test plans and test procedures.Computer Literate and competent with using Microsoft Word and Excel package.DesirableExperience of both Windows and Linux operating systems.Experience of software test.An understanding of video, both analogue and digital formats.Personal AttributesDemonstrates our company values of Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence and Courage.A desire to learn.Have the ability to fit in and work well both in a team and in working autonomously when required.Highly organised and methodical approach, with an eye for detail.Be flexible, conscientious, and with a diligent attitude.Have a resilient and adaptable approach at all times.Work life balance37.5 hour working weekLunchtime finishes on a Friday28 days annual leaveChristmas closureHoliday purchasing schemeSecurity Clearance RequirementsDue to the nature of our business, our staff need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance as a mandated requirement.
