Electronics Test Engineer – Wiltshire
Location: Nr Marlborough
Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9 am – 5:30 pm, Fridays 9 am – 2 pm
Reporting to: Applications Manager
Our client is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components through rigorous testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans and procedures
Perform electrical, functional, and physical testing
Analyse and report results accurately
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
Maintain and calibrate test equipment

Ideal Candidate:
Background in electronics/electrical engineering
Experience with test equipment (e.g. multimeters, microscopes)
Familiarity with AS6171/AS6081 standards
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
LabVIEW experience preferred, but similar packages considered
Equipment You'll Use:
Curve Tracer, X-ray machines (2D & 3D), FTIR, Ramen Spectroscopy
XRF, Acoustic Coupling, Acid Bath, Mechanical Decapsulation
