Updating of PCB parts lists to specify alternative equivalent components when the originally specified parts are not available.The ability to use PCB CAD software (ideally Proteus) to modify PCB layouts is preferred. There is a possible requirement for some site work at UK or international locationsKey ResponsibilitiesTest and repair of electrical and electronic assembliesProduction of test rigsFilling out test certificates, non-conformance documents etcProviding technical assistance to other departmentsEssential ExperiencePersonal skills and qualifications of Electronics Test Engineer:Experience in a similar roleAble to fault find and repair to PCB component levelExperience with the following: logic circuits, operational amplifiers, comparators, microcontrollers, thyristor and transistor circuitry (preferably including IGBTs), relay and contactor circuitsExperience with SM PCBs, including soldering of SM componentsFully conversant in the use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, bench power supplies etcDesirable experiencePreferably qualified to HNC in electronic engineeringAbility to use PCB CAD softwareEssential SkillsExcellent level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and the InternetAbility to plan and coordinate effectivelyCollating and presenting accurate information in a timely mannerDesirable skillsAble to communicate effectively with good presentation skillsBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external training customersExcellent Customer Service SkillsExcellent telephone mannerThe BenefitsSalary to £30,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (part-time considered)Pension22 days holiday + Bank holidaysChristmas closureFree onsite parkingCorporate Eyecare SchemeGroup life assurance schemeLong service awardsTo apply for the Electronics Test Engineer role please click apply nowLNKD1_UKTJ #J-18808-Ljbffr
