Overview

Elite Transient Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer (including Warrant Officer) - Edinburgh. Location: Edinburgh. Compensation: £44,805 / year. Hours: Working away 3 weeks out of 4; 40 hours per week Mon–Thu, with travel home Fri. Assignment covers Edinburgh (EH), Kirkaldy (KY), Falkirk (FK), Galashiels (TD) postcodes. This is a dynamic, field-based role focused on commercial metering and debt-related visits, with opportunities to upskill in additional metering areas.

Key Responsibilities

• A ‘can-do’ attitude with participation in a variety of field metering activities focused on positive customer outcomes
• Safe installation, exchange, commission, removal and ongoing maintenance of metering systems and associated equipment
• Undertake debt resolution visits to fit a Smart Meter to help customers manage debt
• Attend warrants as both an engineer and a Warrant Officer when required

Qualifications and Skills

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)

Desirable

• MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)
• Three Phase
• REGT1-Medium Pressure

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour vision test
• Pass a DBS check
